Happy Easter

PCRs, once again we went to the mountains as you well see to enjoy a beautiful Saturday morning ride. The temperature was a little chili, but after a couple of stops to get some hot chocolate, we were ready for the climb over SunCrest. Mr T was busy promoting a blood drive in full costume and wished us well on our journey. little man was once again the KING OF THE MOUNTAIN and Dr. J. and Prez Hale gave us spiritual TATS to remind us why we celebrate Easter.

We were all reminded to be safe on the fairly steep descent down SunCrest and "MAKE SURE" you don't miss the turn at Mike Weir Drive......... "Dr. J. turn here, slow down, WHERE ARE YOU GOING..........."  Some people just don't listen.

The ride for some was a little too long, a little too early in the season and we all know how it feels to bonk. However, the memories, scenery and chatter among the riders is ALWAYS well worth it.

Tip of the Week = LIFE MOVES FAST, BUT YOUR BIKE RIDE DOESN'T ALWAYS HAVE TO
Riding slow every once in while can help you appreciate your surroundings, feel better and make new friends. Waste a little time, save a little energy and discover what you have been missing.

Spring Is In The Air

With the temperatures rising and more day light for riding, bikers are starting to come out in all ages. For some, it's still hard to get out of their bear caves on a Saturday morning saying it's too cold and still dark, but we won't mention any names, Mr. MBA!  The most important thing is that you are getting out. If you don't have great vistas to take pictures of, stop and take a selfie.

Bikers know something non-bikers don't, and the only way to explain it is to take them for a ride. They either get it or they don't. "We didn't evolve for more than two million years to sit in front of a TV eating potato chips and contracting lifestyle diseases. Humans were meant to be active, to move vigorously and strenuously - just as you do as an athlete." ~ Joel Friel ~

Spring Riding in Utah is the BEST!

Saturday's ride reminds us all why we live in this great state. There's still snow on the upper roads and in the mountains, but WOW, what great vistas. Today we switch to DayLight Savings and that means more great rides in the evenings with your buds and loved ones. Don't confuse the two groups. So it's time to tune-up the pony and shed some of that holiday cheer.
