Medal Count - Curb/2, Lloyd/0

As the Olympics come to a close, we hope all of you are motivated to get off the couch and get to the road/mountains. Sometimes watching these athletes, we have a false belief that we might be able to do some of their minor tricks, and as you will see, it takes training. However, that training has to come with a little PAIN to become the BEST! We just hope the equipment will hold up!

Yesterday, Professor Glauser extended an invitation to join him for the "FREEDOM RIDE" Not riding a lot this year, yet, Wood accepted the invitation. The FREEDOM he found was a NEW training method where he would trade off having the other three riders pull him. One of the riders said, "Now I know what it feels like to be 200 lbs over weight" and then realized that Wood needed a little TOUGH LOVE and turned into that bully trainer from The Biggest Loser. 58 miles later, Wood finished the ride in TEARS :'( and headed home for a hot shower and some ibuprofen.

Super Bowl Weekend requires a WORKOUT

Since the weather is not the best for riding, a few of us took to the mountains for a little snow shoeing. Almost as fun as riding, but either way, Wood still can't pace himself. With a couple of honorary PCRs, we took Anna Paula and George, who had NEVER seen snow for a real ride.

A hardy breakfast is required when hiking with the HALE BROTHERS...
