Road Bikes are designed for riding on the ROAD!

Today's ride started off a little cool. When we woke up it was 22 degrees, but we're glad to say that by 9 am, it did get a little warmer, 25 degrees. When the eVite went out, replies came in saying the proposed ride was "TOO earlier, TOO cold and TOO long." However, as all PCRs rides/adventures go, they are never TOO boring.

As we all know, riding bikes makes us act younger and sometimes we lose common sense. The first picture is next to a young girl, to remind us that biking is for the young at heart. The following two pictures are reminders that when leading, the shortest distance back to the trail is not always a straight line.  I know now what the rest of you must feel like when Wood is leading and says, "Just Trust Me"

Happy New Year!

PCRs, it's a NEW YEAR, and with it comes anticipation of GREAT rides. I rode last Saturday to the top of little mountain and realized that, I'm 7 minutes slower, 10 lbs heavier and still don't like to ride solo. No one to tell my stories to, no interviews, just me and the road.... :-(

However, further west one of the PCRs is enjoying "retired riding". As you will see from below, vistas that require a stop for pictures, ocean sunsets and warmth .... How would that be?

May this year be a year where God grants us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change; courage to change the things we can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
