Today, we again went to the mountains to get away from the HEAT and TRAFFIC. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL RIDE! Started at 58 degrees and as you will see, a lot of competition, interviews, advice and FUN!
Today was a ride we ALL look forward to, the ANNUAL July 24th Ride to the Mountains. This year, we once again did theWastach Crest Trail, an EPIC ride. As you will see, the ride is never complete without a little DIRT, BLOOD, FLAT TIRE, and this year, a little BOTOX INJECTION...
Tara, THANKS for your shuttle services.... NO RIDING WHEN YOU'RE PREGO... Jan, 2013.. :-)
When your youngest son calls and says, "Dad, you want to go ride the Mormon Trail with us?", it's hard to say no. However, riding with youth reminds you, YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER.... SLOW DOWN!!
WE MADE IT!
Post Dunk - - Looking Good...
... minutes later, the effects of the dunk set in.....
This morning's ride is one of my favorites and we couldn't have asked for nicer day. The PCRs had a new rider join us for the first time and hope he will see fit to bring his BETTER HALF next time. (Linda, WHERE WERE YOU?)
We saw a beautiful sunrise, deer, elk, fast pace and were treated with bottled water by our #1 fan, (Shawn, you're the BEST)
Last week's Saturday ride was full of history for one PCR. While a few PCRs headed to the Utah Mountains to ride a Century, one LONE MINUTEMAN RIDER rode the trails of Boston..... WOW, what a TREAT!
