Golf Leads to Temples

Today our ride took us to greater heights and believe it or not it was a golfer, Mike Weir, that helped us get to the House Of The Lord. (Does that mean there is going to be golf in heaven?)

We would like to thank Zane for stopping and leaving his wife to take our picture!

How many bikers does it take to change a flat tire?

Watch out for Woody, he doesn't like it when you ride to fast and hurt him.

WOW, this drink REALLY delivers a Punch!

We have beautiful canyons........

The Spring Chicken Inn to Morgan

Spring has finally arrived and the weather this Saturday was nice enough to get back to some of our favorites. The early morning departure of 6:15 was the beginning of a GREAT RIDE. As we stopped to re-fuel and visit with some of the local ranchers, they asked why we were wearing football cleats and such tight pants. As we left to continue our ride they cheered, "Good Luck you ROCKET HEADS!" (Bruce, all we now need is a logo..... :-) ) Newbies are no longer allowed if they are going to hurt the flock.... Brian, you animal!

As a new rider, you must take care of your duties off road and in a protected area.

'Now this is the proper form for drafting, where you can't see the rest of the riders"

Riding with your buddies, it doesn't get any better

This is why we ride early... "We OWN the road""Happy Mother's Day!" The Wood family is in for a great dinner

As we all know, riding a bike can be hazardous and sometimes painful, but it is worth it in the end. We are all glad that Dr. J, alias President of the ROCKET HEADS is back in the saddle, but don't sleep at the wheel because you never know what you're going to run into.... Yippee Skippy!

The Head Goose Goes Down

OUCH.... that really hurts!
A little blood on the jersey, a patch over the eye, is this really that FUN?

Dr. Testa's Test

Saturday morning the young and NOT so young gathered at the Stringham home (what a GREAT play house) to meet Dr. Testa and see what we need to do to maximize our training for the BIG LOTOJA. Who's idea was this anyway? Personally, I was glad he was able to find a heart beat, which by the way I got up to 173..... is that good? We all started with a 30 minute warm-up and those who thought they could, realized quickly staying off Val's rollers would save the embarrassment of road rash before the test. How does he do that??
It's real easy, just stay focused.........

Little do they know, I've been working on this for months...

Look at me, no hands and who is that goofy guy wearing all those colors and funny hat?

Dr. Testa's Test (cont)

"Man, this is really hard.... I don't know why Kim is always smiling???"

What is all this fuss about??

Would someone please tell me if I'm going to finish LOTOJA?

"It's all on the chart....... What in the HECK does that mean??"
